Packing Operator Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Packing Operator for a company based in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting on the conveyor line while packing product. This position is a full time temporary to hire opportunity. Pay Rate $17.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Day Shift: 8:00am-8:00pm Night Shift 8:00pm-8:00am 2 days on-3 days off rotation (must be willing to work weekend rotation) Packing Operator Duties and Responsibilities Pack yarn from a conveyor belt while assisting machine operator Print shipping labels and packing tickets to prepare the boxes Palletize complete boxes for shipping Packing Operator Qualifications and Requirements Previous packing experience is a plus 1 year manufacturing experience preferred Stand and walk frequently during shift and lift 40lbs (in office lift assessment required) Background check and drug screen required Job Type Full-time, temporary to hire Benefits Weekly Pay Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401K matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.
