The Adult Acute Care Unit (MS3) is a 56 Bed / 36 Telemetry - Medical / Surgical unit with a concentration on complex adult patient populations from a wide variety of cardiac, pulmonary, GI, post-surgical, and orthopedics.Develop andutilizeadvanced organizational, prioritization, communication, and leadership skills while working closely with other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented work environment.

Med Surg, Adult Acute Care (MS3)

• Short Term, Temporary position -This is aone-time, 13-weekassignment.
• This position is not eligible for benefits.
• Paycommensuratewith that of a travel assignment.
• Full time (36 hoursper week)

Night Shift (7:00pm - 7:00am)

Incumbents are eligible to apply for regular employment with a MaineHealth Entity following completion of assignment if position matching skill setsisavailable.

To be eligible for consideration

• Must be separated from a MaineHealth facility forgreaterthan 12 months.

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Temporary role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensureoptimalcare.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursingrequired; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurserequired. Current BLS certificationrequiredor mustobtainwithin30 daysof start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACURN'srequire ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date orin accordance withDepartment guidelines. OB, NICURN'srequire NRP Certification within one year ofstartdate orin accordance withDepartment guidelines.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience preferred.
