Distribution Lead

Hiring for Distribution Lead in Hapeville, GA! Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a distribution team of up to 30 warehouse associates
• Act as a working lead, performing warehouse duties alongside the team
• Coordinate daily workflow including picking, packing, shipping, and staging
• Operate and oversee the safe use of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT/forklifts)
• Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy of work completed
• Assign labor and adjust priorities to meet daily operational demands
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, company procedures, and housekeeping standards
• Train new and existing employees on processes, equipment, and safety requirements
• Communicate staffing needs, performance issues, and operational concerns to management
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment

Required Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong working knowledge of PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) operation (optional but recommended)
• Proven experience using Microsoft Excel and SAP (tracking, reporting, basic data analysis)
• Ability to lead, delegate, and manage teams of up to 30 employees
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and ability to work mandatory overtime as required
• Ability to work more than 8 hours per shift on a regular weekly basis

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an extended shift
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely

Schedule & Overtime

• Scheduled shift: 8 hours per day
• Overtime required; expected to work more than 8 hours weekly based on operational needs
