The Dental Specialists Edina Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while helping patients navigate their specialty dental care journey.

Dental experience is welcome but not required. We encourage candidates with proven backgrounds in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, retail, administration, or other service-focused industries to apply.

Wage range: $24.00-$27.15 per hour

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and positive experience for patients by greeting, checking in, and assisting them throughout their visit
• Coordinate and manage patient schedules, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-up communication
• Answer patient questions regarding appointments, billing, and insurance benefits
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with patient account management
• Accurately enter and maintain patient information and records
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure efficient office operations and exceptional patient care
• Utilize scheduling and practice management software to support daily operations
• Assist with resolving patient concerns and identifying solutions that support a positive patient experience

• Strong multitasking and schedule coordination abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general data entry skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting patients and teammates
• Dental insurance knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, retail, or administrative roles is preferred

Work Schedule

Mondays: 7:30-5:15 rotate e/o Monday between Burnsville/Edina

Tuesday: 7:30-5:15 Edina

Wednesdays: 7:30-5:15 Burnsville

Thursdays: 7:30-5:15 Edina

Fridays: 7:45-12 Edina Admin day (No patients)

Summer Hours (June-August):

Mondays: 7:00-4:15 rotate e/o Monday between Burnsville/Edina

Tuesday: 7:00-4:15 Edina

Wednesdays: 7:00-4:15 Burnsville

Thursdays: 7:00-4:15 Edina

Fridays: 7:45-12 Edina Admin day (No patients)
