Woodbury Family Dentistry is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to support our dentists and enhance the patient experience. This full-time role offers the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced, yet supportive environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring procedures run smoothly, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and delivering outstanding patient care. Title Dental assistant Job Description Assist the dentist chairside during dental procedures and treatments. Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and dental instruments to meet infection control standards. Take and develop dental X-rays following established protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-procedure care instructions. Manage and maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. Ensure compliance with all infection control and safety guidelines. Support front office as needed with chairside and administrative duties. Salary Range full-time $18 - $23 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: Closed Requirements Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) Infection Control License Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant X-ray / Radiography Certification Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred but not required; relevant training will be considered. Valid X-ray certification required. Solid knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced dental office. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Preferences Dentrix Eaglesoft Open Dental Experience with dental practice management software is a plus but not mandatory.
