By drawing upon technical development and project management experience, the Program Manager develops strategies to influence programmatic direction and enable both program and business success. In this position, the Program Manager will communicate directly with customers, leadership, and cross-functional program teams. Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are regularly complex, requiring broad-based consideration of variables that impact multiple areas of the organization.Essential Functions:Responsible for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of a program through all lifecycle phasesIdentifies program risks and creates opportunities to manage the operational impactsResponsible for program change management, controlling program performance measurement baseline of cost, schedule, and performanceDevelops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, subcontract agreements, and other program documentsCoordinates and monitors supplier activities, deliverables, and finances, and aligns supplier performance with L3Harris business financial performanceEnsures that all resources such as engineering, manpower, production, and facilities are available to support the programEnsures clear understanding and communication of program status, changes, and performance to the Customer and L3Harris leadershipPrepares and provides reports, briefings, and technical reviews to the Customer and L3Harris leadershipDevelops program and adjacent growth opportunities to meet strategic business objectives for the product line or portfolioLeads the preparation of program proposals, proposal scope, budget and expenditure plans, and financial terms of contractAbility to travel occasionally to customer or supplier locations as needed (less than 10%)Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Experience managing technology development program(s)Experience managing cross disciplined workforce of approximately 15+Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers in a performance-based environmentExperience with Earned Value ManagementPreferred Additional Skills:Experience with best practices for program executionExperience in managing multi-discipline programs across multiple locationsExperience managing projects with total budgets of $250M+Experience with Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and/or Overhead Persistent Infrared MissionsExperience in satellite development, integration, test, and on-orbit supportProject Manager Professional (PMP) certificationActive Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
