TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27403!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 20 Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS required. Must-Have: - Prior experience in an Emergency Department. - Experience with Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, and Starting IVs. - Skills in Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and Procedural Sedation Administration. - Competence in CPAP/BiPAP management and Interpretation of ABGs. - Experience with Triage and patient care ratios of 1:5. Description: ASAP start is needed. There is an urgent need for this position. Nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. At least 8 weekend shifts required per contract. Floating to other units is required as needed. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Must have experience with both adult and pediatric care in a combined emergency department. Responsibilities include the administration of blood products, central line management, phlebotomy, and initiating IVs. Continuous IV sedation and administration of IV vasopressors are part of the job duties. Candidates will handle patients requiring CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management. Experience with triage is necessary. Every RN must pass a compliance EKG exam. Compliance items are allowed to be pending upon start. Candidates must have experience with general emergency department situations. All patient age groups will be treated, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Team support includes IV teams, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
