Position Overview

• Minimum of five years of recent experience in the nursing field.
• Previous experience in Case Management or Utilization Management is essential.
• Familiarity with screening criteria, including Cerner, InterQual, and MCG, is required.

Education Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• BSN graduate is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of five years of recent experience in clinical nursing or related fields such as Utilization Review or Case Management.
• Experience in Care Management, Case Management, or Utilization Management is necessary.
• Must be experienced with conducting over 30 reviews a day.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills is required.

Licensure and Certification

• Must hold current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• ACM/CCM Certification is helpful.
