Maintenance EngineerReporting to the Chief Engineer, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security and structural systems and elements of resort buildings and facilities.Our Property:Captiva Island has been the destination of choice for generations of families. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks during the work shift.Must show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.Works well in stressful, high-pressure situations – fast paced environment.Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns or issues raised by coworkers and/or guests.Ability to work independently.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSEngineers work in fast paced environments. This job may require you to stand for long hours.
