Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) – Rochester, NY

Setting: hospital Cardiac Catheterization / Interventional Cardiology unit
This travel assignment requires an active NY license in hand, certification in ACLS and BLS, EPIC charting experience, and the ability to work in a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab environment with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (left and right heart) in the cath lab.
- Support PCI/PTCA, stent placement, and rotablator atherectomy as clinically indicated.
- Participate in cardiac implant/closure device procedures and assist with IABP placement/removal.
- Scrub, circulate, and maintain sterile technique; assist with equipment setup and device preparation.
- Monitor patient status, recognize dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias, and document results in EPIC.

Requirements
- NY license in hand to submit
- ACLS and BLS required
- EPIC charting experience is required
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
- ARRT (R) preferred; RCIS accepted if ARRT is not available (facility restriction: RCIS on call limited)
- Ability to float to related cath lab procedures/unit as needed; on-call coverage required
- Pre-start modules required; up to 5 hours billable (total module time may reach 10 hours)
