Job Description

As an Industrial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining food machinery and components used in agricultural feed production, including items such as pumps, gaskets, valves, HVAC systems, heat exchangers, compressors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. A strong foundation in mechanical maintenance and a basic understanding of electrical components is essential. Additionally, you will be involved in boiler and refrigeration tasks and assist in training newer employees on preventive maintenance and overall daily maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on food machinery and components used in feed production.

• Maintain and repair pumps, gaskets, valves, HVAC systems, heat exchangers, compressors, and conveyors.

• Conduct mechanical maintenance with a strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and electrical components.

• Engage in boiler and refrigeration maintenance.

• Train newer employees on preventive maintenance and daily maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance.

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Skilled in HVAC and electrical troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of PLC systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Boiler certification.

• Experience with centrifuge maintenance.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift, from 8am to 4pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
