You'll have the chance to work with senior leaders in the organization, so collaboration and influence skills will be key.Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of data integration engineers with a focus on agility and continuous improvement, providing 24/7 supportProvide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective team performance and developmentCoordinate with senior management and other departments to align data integration objectives with organizational goalsHandle escalations, both internal/external, and manage support from different levelsManage tools, systems, and procedures to ensure dynamic management of issues and customer managementOperational Excellence: Own and drive multiple simultaneous efforts and roadmaps within the area through close coordination with various IT teams and external vendorsDevelop and implement processes and procedures to optimize operations and improve efficiencyMonitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)Ensure continual process improvement within data integration, including but not limited to: automation of operational tasks and reporting, implementation of enterprise-wide monitoring initiatives, and routine administration tasksStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the performance and efficiency of data integration infrastructure operationsCollaborate with senior management to align IT operations with organizational goals and objectivesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, streamline processes, and mitigate risksIncident and Problem Management: Establish and enforce incident management processes to minimize downtime and service disruptionsLead the resolution of critical incidents, coordinating cross-functional teams to restore services expedientlyConduct thorough root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrenceProject Management: Lead and coordinate larger projects, ensuring timely and successful completionCollaborate with project teams to plan, execute, and monitor data protection infrastructure projectsKnowledge, skills, and abilities:Flexibility in supporting application releases off-hours; flexibility in participating in a team-based on-call rotation off-hours for emergenciesKnowledge and understanding of AWS or Azure technologies, products, and servicesKnowledge and understanding of working in an Agile/Kanban development environment, using tools such as Jira and ConfluenceAbility to balance risk with business priorities and applies the appropriate sense of urgency to issuesExceptional communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAbility to establish effective working relationships within all levels of the organizationEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualificationsRequired:Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii)Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.6+ years of related IT experience3+ years of people management experience, to include hiring, 1-1 meetings, career coaching/mentoring, performance reviews, salary reviews, etc.Must have experience leading and mentoring technical professionals within a complex environmentProven commitment to continuous improvement of team members and technology through the capture, analysis, and reporting of key performance, utilization, and cost metricsExperience managing 3rd party and vendor relationships and negotiationsMust be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilitiesPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferredProficiency with Data Replication disciplines in both on-premise and cloud infrastructure environmentsPrefer experience working in a large technology/data replication environmentAwareness and understanding of data replication concepts and technologiesKnowledge of Oracle Golden Gate or Qlik ReplicateFamiliarity with cloud solutions like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft AzureAwareness and understanding of IP networkingAbility to challenge current solutions, determine appropriate solutions, and ensure there is alignment across the organizationAdept at improving outcomes through proactive coaching and development at all levels Enterprise Holdings
