Job Description Join the Virginia Veterinary Centers team in Midlothian at our brand-new, state‑of‑the‑art facility built in 2024. This modern 10,200 sq. ft. emergency and specialty hospital is thoughtfully designed with advanced medical, surgical, and diagnostic capabilities to support exceptional patient care and team collaboration. Overview We are seeking skilled, compassionate Emergency Veterinarians to help build and shape our growing 24/7 ER service, supported by a highly collaborative, multi‑site network. Responsibilities Build and shape a fully developed Emergency department as we expand from Urgent Care and Internal Medicine. Collaborate closely with Short Pump and Fredericksburg teams to ensure seamless case transfers, provide strong mentorship, and share specialty support. Influence protocols, culture, and clinical standards as we grow our service. Engage in collaborative cross‑location scheduling and case management across our campuses. Participate in teaching, training, and mentorship opportunities within the network. Qualifications Experienced Emergency Veterinarian with a passion for patient care. Strong teamwork and mentoring skills, with a collaborative mindset. Comfortable managing complex cases and working in a 24/7 environment. Excellent communication with clients and colleagues. Commitment to continuous learning and protocol development.
