Printing Production Associate

Position Title: Printing Production Associate Wage: $18.50/hour ($4.50/hour raise upon hire) Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am (3-3-4-4 Schedule) Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity with plenty of advancement opportunities with an industry leader? Printing Production Associate Responsibilities: Remove materials from web presses and load them onto pallets or skids for further processing or storage Adjust stacking mechanisms on presses based on paper dimensions Load and unload materials from pallets, carts, or trays using hand trucks, electric dollies, or similar equipment Convey materials from storage to designated work areas, accurately counting, weighing, and recording units moved Attach labels or tags to materials and mark containers with relevant information Remove cores from matrices and roll stock, and bundle or stack materials using banding machines and clinchers Operate automated equipment to facilitate material movement Perform general cleaning duties, including waste management and maintaining a clutter-free manufacturing area Assist press crew with make-ready tasks, such as retrieving and hanging plates, recycling, and cleaning equipment Conduct in-process quality checks for print defects and communicate issues to press operators Support inventory control activities for raw materials and finished goods Pack products according to specifications, ensuring accuracy in counts, labels, and product orientation Maintain safe practices, including troubleshooting web breaks and machine downtime Set up and operate sheeters and stackers, adjusting equipment as needed Support maintenance tasks, including press make-ready procedures and cleaning, following safety protocols Requirements for Printing Production Associate: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform tasks for extended periods Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks on-site for up to an 8-hour shift Experience operating manual and powered equipment such as hand trucks, palletizers, and other equipment is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
