Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Peoria, IL. This travel assignment requires a highly skilled and experienced nurse, specializing in critical care for post open heart surgical patients. The work environment is dynamic, requiring a quick and efficient response to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide care for post-open heart surgical patients and those with cardiovascular conditions
• Manage and interpret critical care equipment including ventilators, IABPs, and ECMO
• Titrate medications such as dopamine, epinephrine, and propofol
• Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, including respiratory therapists and APNs
• Read and interpret patient telemetry data

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, CCRN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with EPIC charting system
