Company: Quanta ManufacturingAddress: 3815 LOGISTICS WAY ANTIOCH TN 37013Hours: 4p-1aPosition: Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd shiftPURPOSE OF POSITION:Warehouse supervisor for all activities and controls in the warehouse. Provide directionand leadership for other warehouse personnel. Responsible for leading warehouse staffand assisting warehouse team in the areas of receiving and inventory control. Pullsproduction material according to pick list and enters information into computer system.Participates in preparing warehouse for physical inventory. Participates in physicalcount of inventory according to procedures. Responsible for accuracy of inventorycounts. Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse(s). Processes and stocksall releases. Pulls orders according to established procedures. Identifies problem ordersand interfaces with Buyer/Planner for resolution. Prepares and organizes orders forshipment according to vendor routing instructions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Control of physical inventory* Understanding and Executing inventory transactions in SAP system* Completes all documentation regarding goods received, noting shortages,damage and exceptions.* Maintains all necessary files.* Responsible for verifying that signed purchase orders are available for allproducts received.* Responsible for accuracy of picking and kitting orders* Schedule the receiving and delivery of raw materials/finished products in a timelymanner* Provide accurate and timely departmental reports* Provides direction to warehouse personnel regarding expected shipments to bereceived and related tasks to be completed* Receives incoming materials or equipment. Examines contents to verify againstinvoice or bill of lading, as well as obvious damage, following establishedprocedure.* Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards* Ensure that all raw materials and full goods are properly stored and protected* Improve plant audit performance and work environment.* Instruct and train all warehouse personnel in proper procedures and regulations* Train and motivate front-line employees through effective communication.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS* Must have a minimum 3-5 years lead experience in a warehouse setting and aminimum of 1-2 years of supervisory.* BS degree preferred, High school diploma requiredOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES* Ability to lead, guide, and direct team* Excellent skills in Warehouse management, ERP, Inventory* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to think on yourfeet.* Knowledge of electronics is preferred.
