Respiratory Therapist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team and provide care to our geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly patients and a strong understanding of respiratory conditions and treatments. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, including weekend rotations, and a competitive salary range of $35.00 - $40.00 per hour. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory health and develop treatment plans based on their specific needs and conditions Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and nebulizer treatments Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self‑care techniques Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients Document all patient care and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols Keep up-to-date with advancements in respiratory therapy and implement new techniques and treatments as appropriate Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients Strong understanding of respiratory conditions and treatments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to work a full‑time schedule, including weekend rotations Strong attention to detail and ability to document patient care accurately Current CPR certification We Offer Competitive salary range of $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Full‑time position with flexible schedule Weekend rotation Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities If you are a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist with a passion for working with geriatric patients, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
