Remote Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of our client in a remote setting to build, operate, and continuously improve Azure-based cloud platforms with a strong focus on reliability, automation, security, scalability, and performance. The ideal candidate will take ownership of cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and platform reliability while contributing to architecture and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance Microsoft Azure services across compute, storage, networking, and platform technologies.

• Build reliable, scalable, high-performance, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, compute, storage, and security domains.

• Partner with platform and operations teams to standardize and improve cloud environments.

• Develop and maintain observability, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Support hybrid connectivity and secure cloud access patterns.

• Design and maintain secure, high-performing cloud networks.

• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and standardized deployment patterns.

• Partner with development teams to improve application reliability and operational efficiency through Azure services.

• Apply cloud security best practices across infrastructure and platforms.

• Contribute to engineering standards and operational processes.

• Mentor engineers and help strengthen cloud engineering capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 4 8 years of professional experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering .

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure .

• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and architecture.

• Experience with production automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages .

• Experience implementing and maintaining observability and monitoring solutions.

• Production experience with Terraform, Bicep, or OpenTofu .

• Understanding of cloud security, including identity, access management, and network security.

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, and software development practices .

• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux administration .

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.

• AZ-104 or other relevant Azure certification.

• Experience with hybrid or enterprise cloud environments.

• Knowledge of container technologies .

• Experience working in manufacturing or other large-scale enterprise environments.
