Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Emergency Room Nights position available. Start date is 3-4 weeks from compliance completion. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted if they have 2 years of experience with the necessary skill set. Not required to be on call. The facility has a total of 107 staffed beds. Daily visit census averages around 92. No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius. The position involves comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. The team supports a multidisciplinary approach with respiratory services, social services, and unit secretaries. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit stabilizes trauma patients for transport but does not have a trauma center on-site. Charting will be done using an electronic system. Special procedures include central line management, chest tube insertion, and transvenous pacemaker management. Candidates must have experience in arterial line management and care for ventilated patients. This position requires skills in medication administration, triage, and the management of dysrhythmias.
