Ensure accountability regarding cost, reliability, and turn timesRequest Warranty Repairs as requiredRecommend new repair vendors and manage current approved repair vendor portfolioBuild rapport and strong business relationships with approved repair vendorsCollaborate to identify cost saving opportunitiesRecommend PMA part opportunities to Maintenance Engineering that improve performance and/or lower costResolve issues related to shipping, paperwork, invoicing, or material discrepancies as requiredManage the material scrap process for aircraft parts as necessaryReview shop component tear down reports and approve repair work as requiredEnter and manage all repair data for each repair orderMake recommendations to management on repair order or scrap dispositionsCoordinate the repair/testing/calibration of aircraft toolingCollaborate with Maintenance Engineering to ensure compliance with mods/SBAny other duties as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (to be determined by the hiring manager) requiredStrong analytical skillsWell-developed communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage several diverse assigned tasks simultaneouslyAdept at solving complex problemsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentHigh degree of change management skillsAbility to manage several diverse assigned tasks simultaneouslyDriven toward tearing down organizational processes to optimize efficienciesPositive attitude and ability to build strong rapport with internal and external stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Substitution of experience for Bachelor's degree requires a minimum of two (2) years of aviation inventory management experience with (4) years of aviation inventory management experience strongly preferredAircraft repair management experienceAirline or aircraft maintenance experience (A&P License)Familiarity with aircraft component maintenance manualsTRAX system software experienceCompensation: $25.00-27.00 USD per hour. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.Classification: Full-time, Non-ExemptWork Location: This position is open onsite in Las Vegas, NV.Supervisory responsibility: NoneWork Environment: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
