Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Join a dedicated wound care team focused on implementing and evaluating evidence-based practices to improve clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing patients of all ages referred for wound, ostomy, and continence needs, collaborating with healthcare providers for timely interventions. Developing, communicating, and documenting individualized care plans using the nursing process, and following up to evaluate outcomes. Performing pre-operative stoma site marking, conservative debridement, and cautery with provider approval. Designing and delivering patient and caregiver education tailored to developmental, cultural, and learning needs. Developing discharge plans and coordinating follow-up care related to wound and ostomy management. Utilizing research and evidence to develop policies, procedures, and standards of practice. Participating in resource utilization evaluations and healthcare team education on wound, ostomy, and continence management. Ensuring safety and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent. Current RN license in applicable states; BLS certification from AHA. No prior experience required. Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and performing clinical procedures. Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills. Additional Requirements Compliance with state-specific licensing and certification standards.
