Pharmacy Technician (Shift Differential)

Pay: $24.45/hour
Location: Madison Heights, MI (On-site)
Schedule: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM; every other weekend; rotating holidays
Type: Contract-to-hire (W2)

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you’ll support prescription fulfillment and IV preparation while helping maintain safe, accurate pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under pharmacist supervision
Support final-check workflow (e.g., medication stating for pharmacist review and/or packaging after review)
Enter prescription/billing data into computer systems to support fulfillment and reimbursement
Assist with inventory best practices (receiving/rotating stock, lot numbers, expiration dates, physical inventory support)
Help maintain a clean, safe workspace; check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Shift Differential / OT Details

Shift 2 Differential: +$1.00
Shift 3 Differential: +$2.50
Overtime (OT): average of shifts 1–3 straight time × 1.5
Double Time (DT): average of shifts 1–3 straight time × 2

Benefits

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service.
