Adult team member needed to fill an afternoon shift of Thursday - Saturday 3pm - 8pm (15 hours per week). This is a closing postion where the employee is responsible for restocking , cleaning equipment including fryers, dishes and floors.

Job Summary

• Prepares, seasons, and cooks dishes, such as soups, meats, vegetables in fast paced environment - breakfast items, burgers, fish, bagels
• ability to work as a team with out attitude
• must be available weekends
• Over 18 years old with the ability to use knifes, slicer and other kitchen equipment
• opportunities to work with our catering and food trucks as well

General Accountabilities

• Inspects and clean food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
• works in a clean manor. knows and is familiar with FDA food code and Health Department Regulations
• shows up to work on time for given shift in clean clothing and presentable attire.
• Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, grills, and roasters.
• Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
• Seasons and cooks food according to recipes and standards of established dishes
• The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 6 months to one year of related kitchen experience prefered.
