Veterinary Client Service Representative

Description Veterinary Client Service Representative Location: Canyon Lake, TX Job Type: Full-time About You You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast‑paced veterinary clinic or animal hospital. You’re comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi‑line phones, check‑in/check‑out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience. The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients in a warm, professional manner Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage multiple lines efficiently Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate client records Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, estimates, and follow‑ups Coordinate appointments for veterinary services, boarding, grooming, and daycare Support the medical team with administrative tasks as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas Assist in checking pets in and out for appointments, boarding, and grooming Provide excellent client education and service at every interaction Qualifications Previous customer service experience required (veterinary experience preferred) Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Basic computer skills; experience with veterinary software is a plus Skills & Career Growth Access to comprehensive learning programs via ThriveU Live virtual workshops to develop leadership skills Program to teach fundamentals of running a pet hospital Benefits – our care in action Competitive pay 401(k) with employer match Mental health resources, including easy access to therapy through Lyra Health Paid parental leave Purr‑ental leave for when you adopt a pet Subsidized backup childcare and elder care Expert advice, support and network discounts for fertility and family planning FREE CE courses Pet perks and veterinary service discounts Student loan support tools and assistance Some benefits only for full‑time team members working 30+ hours per week; certain benefits may be subject to waiting periods or length of service requirements.
