Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for an acute care radiology department.
Details
- Acute care radiology unit performing CT imaging for adult and pediatric patients
- Uses Epic EMR
- 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
- Holiday and call coverage required
- 2 CT Techs scheduled for inpatient coverage, 1 for outpatient
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ARRT certification in CT required
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to start IVs
- Experience with Canon/Toshiba and Fuji Synapsys equipment preferred
Additional Information
- Perform CT exams across all departmental areas for adult and pediatric patients
- No lead tech assigned in the unit; reports to Radiology Director/Manager
- In-house radiologist coverage 7 AM to 7 PM, on-call 7 PM to 7 AM
- Black scrubs required for all technologists
- Floor-specific orientation generally up to 2 weeks
- Radiation badge provided by staffing agency, not facility
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel positions
- Previous WVU Medicine employees or travelers must have a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers are limited to one year of cumulative work within the WVU system before requiring a 2-year break
