Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using proper technical factors, evaluating each image for correct exposure and positioning
• Provide a variety of technical imaging procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying independent judgment and technical skill to support diagnosis and treatment
• Schedule exams and properly instruct patients on preparations prior to procedures
• Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff both orally and in writing
• Adapt to emergency situations, work independently, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Required Qualifications

• Must hold active ARRT registration in CT
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and patients (20 lbs or more, with or without assistance)
• Manual dexterity required to operate imaging equipment
• Visual and hearing acuity necessary to receive feedback and information from patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing both CT and general X-Ray in a clinical setting
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work with diverse patient populations and personalities
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to continually changing conditions and priorities
