Workforce Development Instructor: Temporary Part- Plumbing

Title: Workforce Development Instructor: Temporary Part-Time—Commercial Plumbing Department: Workforce & Community Development Campus: Varies Position Summary Pellissippi State Community College is seeking qualified contract instructor(s) to teach commercial/industrial plumbing training classes for its Workforce and Community Development Department. The instructor will conduct evening classes in an industry setting on an ongoing basis in partnership with a local industry. Duties and Responsibilities 75% Delivery of educational instruction 25% Curriculum development (Utilize Plumbing Curriculum) Required Qualifications Valid Limited Licensed Plumber (LLP) or current Tennessee‑issued journeyman/master plumber license. Knowledge of instructional safety practices in a lab or shop environment. Minimum three (3) years of full‑time, verifiable plumbing experience. Postsecondary certificate/diploma in plumbing or related field preferred. Familiarity with NCCER curriculum and/or Tennessee Residential/Commercial Plumbing Code.
