Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult patients, including medication administration, monitoring, and documentation. The role entails a requirement to float to other units or facilities as needed and participate in weekend coverage on an alternating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Engage in medication administration and patient monitoring.
• Complete necessary documentation using the EPIC system.
• Float to other units as required based on census needs.
• Provide weekend coverage as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a telemetry setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system.
