Cybersecurity EngineerJoin us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoProvide Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of Test Equipment (TE)Support Flight Test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systemsDevelop Cybersecurity Compliant TE (Linux, IOS, Windows)Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardwareTroubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrityCollaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into controlled networks or enterprisesCollaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance (using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and locally procured software)Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on the TESupport all reviews required prior for implementation of any changes to the TEThis position is 100% ONSITE in El Segundo, CaliforniaQualifications You Must HaveBachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree in STEM and a minimum of 3 years relevant experienceMinimum 3 years of Linux systems administration experienceNetworking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and/or firewalls such as iptables/firewalldPackage management such as yum/dnf, apt and/or repository managementExperience with user account management, software installation and or technical customer supportU.S. Citizen with current DoD Government issued Secret security clearance day oneQualifications We PreferCertifications: DoD 8570.01M IAT II certified credentials (Security+, CISM, etc.), or ability to obtain within 6 months of startSystems Engineering Experience: Systems Engineer managing Operational Technology (OT) experience and/or test systems in a production environmentOS & Systems Administration: Experience with Windows and Linux (desktop and server), including networking administration and user/permissions management such as AD integration, sudo, SELinux/AppArmor basicsSecurity & Hardening Practices: Experience with backup/recovery procedures, baseline hardening such as CIS benchmarks, STIGs, and vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, OpenSCAPAutomation/Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible), including writing and maintaining playbooks for patch management and routine configurationTroubleshooting & Communication: Troubleshooting skills across Windows/Linux systems, customer service orientation, and oral/written technical communication with independent problem-solving abilityWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
