This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with substantial employment litigation experience who is looking to work on sophisticated matters for a diverse client base in a fast-paced, nationally recognized practice. The role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the chance to work alongside seasoned practitioners handling complex and high-stakes employment matters.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in New York, in good standing5–7 years of substantive employment law experience, with a strong focus on wage and hour litigation and counseling,Significant experience advising employers on compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour lawsExperience handling complex wage and hour matters, including class, collective and representative actions in federal and state courtsExperience defending and prosecuting breaches of restrictive covenantsExperience preparing and negotiating employment agreements, including executive compensation provisions, strongly preferredAbility to leverage AI-driven and emerging technologies effectively to improve efficiency, enhance client service, and elevate the quality of legal work products.Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skillsAbility to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environmentsKey ResponsibilitiesHandle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters, from inception through resolutionAdvise employers on complex workplace law issues, including employee relations, compliance, and risk managementDraft and negotiate employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and executive compensation provisionsRepresent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreementsAptitude to apply AI driven and emerging technologies effectively to enhance efficiency, client service, and legal work productCollaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needsWhy Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to join a highly regarded labor and employment practice that is exclusively focused on representing management.
