Service Advisor
Brown Automotive Group
- Greet customers and assess their service needs.
- Schedule service appointments and confirm vehicle drop-off times.
- Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms.
- Prepare detailed repair orders and work with technicians to determine required services.
- Provide cost estimates, explain repair processes, and gain customer approvals.
- Communicate regularly with customers about the status of their vehicle.
- Ensure all completed work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with parts departments to ensure timely availability of necessary components.
- Process service payments and handle warranty claims as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and follow-up with customers post-service.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical training a plus)
- Prior experience in automotive service, customer service, or a related role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology
- Proficiency in service software systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Xtime)
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
