We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Reading, PA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, schedule mechanics/technicians, manage outside orders, ensure quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and uphold the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and drive the sales initiatives of Mavis. They communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information about repairs and maintenance, ensure satisfaction with the in‑store experience, and strive to meet customer expectations. To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must: Be at least 18 years of age Be legally authorized to work in the United States Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
