Freeway Chevrolet is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep our dealership safe, clean, and operating at peak efficiency. In this hands-on role, you'll perform routine building maintenance and repairs across our service department, showroom, and office areas. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems Maintain clean, safe, and functional service areas, showrooms, offices, and dealership facilities Complete minor cosmetic repairs, including drywall patching and paint touch-ups Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests Maintain organization and inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies Identify and report maintenance issues requiring additional repairs or vendor support Perform indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks as needed to support daily dealership operations Qualifications At least 1 year of general building maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience required Basic knowledge of building systems, repair techniques, and hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Compensation & Perks Competitive Pay: $20-$27 Opportunities for career growth and advancement Supportive, team-oriented workplace Employee discounts and assistance programs Volunteer opportunities and employee engagement programs Closed on Sundays Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contributions Life insurance Paid time off and holidays Access to onsite nurse practitioners and wellness support #J-18808-Ljbffr Chapman Automotive Group
