C and C Pasta Inc., the food-service operator at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, is hiring dependable kitchen helpers for the 2026–2027 school year.

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–1:30 PM
Hours: Up to 30 hours per week, based on the school calendar
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced school cafeteria. This position follows the school calendar, with no nights and school holidays and breaks off.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, snacks, and other menu items
• Portion and serve food during lunch service
• Set up, stock, and restock food-service stations
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen utensils
• Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, and work areas
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and help maintain a clean kitchen
• Receive, organize, and stock food and supplies
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist the kitchen team with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Dependable, punctual, and available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM
• Comfortable working during a fast-paced lunch period
• Friendly and professional when working with students, staff, and coworkers
• Able to stand for most of the six-hour shift
• Able to lift and carry 40 to 50 pounds
• Comfortable performing food preparation, stocking, dishwashing, and cleaning duties
• Food-service or kitchen experience is helpful, but not required
• Training will be provided to the right candidate
• Employment may be subject to school approval and any required background screening
