Job Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual and highly motivated Home Care Recruiter to join our team in Islandia, NY. As a Home Care Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting, identifying, and selecting qualified candidates to fill various positions within our homecare agency. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract candidates for various homecare positions, including caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract candidates for various homecare positions

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, networking, and community partnerships, to build a pool of qualified candidates

  • Candidate Screening and Assessment:

  • Conduct initial screenings of applicants to assess their qualifications, experience, and compatibility with our organization's values

  • Coordinate and conduct interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, attitudes, and suitability for specific roles within our homecare agency

  • Collaboration with Coordinators:

  • Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions

  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices in interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes

  • Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in the homecare industry

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, interviews, and hiring decisions

  • Onboarding and Orientation:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles

  • Coordinate orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with our organization's culture, policies, and procedures

  • Networking and Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with local educational institutions, professional organizations, and community resources to enhance the recruitment pipeline

  • Attend industry events and job fairs to promote our organization and identify potential candidates

  • Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and retention rates, to continuously improve recruitment processes

  • Generate regular reports for management on recruitment activities and key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in recruiting for the healthcare or homecare industry

  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
