Registered Nurse (RN)This role requires a well-rounded Registered Nurse with strong experience in various surgical specialties, including General, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, and Vascular. The position takes place in a facility equipped to handle a wide range of medical scenarios, including those requiring advanced surgical interventions.Facility Information:Number of Beds: 492Level II Trauma CenterLevel III NICUPrimary Stroke CenterOperating Room: 15 (2 CVOR)Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted.Expertise in Trauma (excluding burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, General, Orthopedics (including total joint experience), Urology, and Robotics for both General and Neuro surgery.Experience in various case types, including Gyn, Plastics, Breast, and Eye procedures.Preference for candidates with robotics experience (Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI).Required Certifications:ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)BLS (Basic Life Support)Employee Support:The nursing team will be supported by an Operating Room Assistant, a desk assistant, a charge nurse, and team leaders across service lines.Technology and Equipment:EMR: CernerIV Pumps: Plum 360Medication Dispensing: OmnicellMonitors: SpacelabsScheduling and Orientation:Weekend rotation is required, with on-call duties one weekday and one weekend per month.Response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes.Expected to work one holiday per contract.Orientation consists of 2 weeks on day shift, with a requirement to take buddy call during this period.Additional Information:Scrub Color: Green (provided)Parking: Available in a parking deck
