Job Full Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our food manufacturing team. This position is responsible for monitoring product quality, conducting inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and food safety while working effectively in a fast-paced production environment. $31.25/hr

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Collect samples and conduct testing according to established procedures and specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Document inspection results, test data, and quality findings accurately and timely.
- Identify, investigate, and report quality deviations or non-conformances.
- Assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause investigations.
- Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP programs, and company quality standards.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.
- Previous quality assurance, quality control, laboratory, or food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety regulations, and quality systems preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working in a food production environment, including varying temperatures.
