Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Hanford, California. This 12-week assignment starts on 09/21/2026 in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Guaranteed 40 hours per week on a 4x10 Day shift (7:00 AM–5:30 PM). Weekly pay ranges from $787 to $808, with an OR focus delivering perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the OR, including patient positioning, monitoring, and recovery planning
- Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument counts, equipment setup, and case preparation to support safe procedures
- Monitor intraoperative patient status, anesthesia progression, vital signs, and hemodynamics; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulator nurses, and scrub techs to ensure efficient case flow and patient safety
- Document intraoperative events, surgical counts, and post-anesthesia care needs; ensure accurate handoffs and clinical communication
- Participate in room turnover, equipment management, and adherence to infection control standards

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment (California)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment and support multiple cases
- Willingness to rotate through OR duties across the shift schedule and travel as required
