$59,000 - $66,000 a year Role Basics Location: LA (Hybrid - in office 3 times a week in Culver City) Job Type: Full time, permanent Salary: 59K-66K USD (based on experience) Reports to: Head of Educator HR About the Role As an Educator HR Generalist at Zen Educate, you will serve as a direct support system and trusted partner to thousands of Zen educators. You will own your day‑to‑day work while collaborating closely with a relaxed, collaborative team. This role blends essential HR compliance with internal team support, designed to ensure our educators are safe, prepared, and set up for success. What You’ll Be Doing HR Operations, Case Management & Compliance Active Case Management: Manage an active volume of educator queries through the HR inbox and phone line with high urgency, aiming for rapid resolution within established HR processes. Employee Relations Escalations: Take ownership of initial employee relations workflows. Conduct thorough discovery, handle documentation, and process standard escalations efficiently. Documentation is essential and must be prioritized. Administration & Compliance Precision: Execute core administrative tasks—information collection, unemployment claims, garnishment processing—with strict template mastery and adherence to compliance standards. System Tracking: Proactively update database systems, maintain detailed case logs, and ensure strict compliance protocols are hit across your assigned caseload. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Feedback Integration: Actively seek feedback from leadership and peers to optimize your daily operational workflow. Cross‑Team Communication: Maintain transparent, proactive communication with local Account Management teams to resolve immediate operational issues swiftly. What We’re Looking For The Right Background: Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is highly valued. System & Template Mastery: Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple moving parts, standard compliance processes, and administrative queues without losing attention to detail. Communication & Delivery: Confident and clear communicator capable of leading presentations, field questions dynamically, and facilitating both online and in‑person sessions for diverse audiences.
