This role requires coordination with academic and administrative partners to ensure advising services align with evolving program & institutional goals.The Director oversees all aspects of advising operations, including:Leadership and Supervision: Guiding, developing, and evaluating a large team of administrative faculty and support staff; fostering a collaborative and supportive culture focused on student success.Strategic Management: Establishing and enforcing unit policies and ensuring the center’s structure and processes meet the needs of a diverse and high-demand student population.Student Support and Advising: Providing direct advising to undergraduate and prospective students as needed; ensuring consistent application of advising policies and degree requirements.Partnership and Advocacy: Representing the Advising Center and the College of Sciences at university-level committees and events; advocating for the unique needs of students and programs.Curriculum and Policy Collaboration: Partnering with faculty and administration to align advising practices with curricular changes, accreditation requirements, and student success priorities.All positions in Academic Affairs contribute to our core mission: to increase enrollment and promote equitable student success. This position shall coordinate with the Assistant Dean of Student Success and Undergraduate Programs to set annual goals that align with Top Tier initiatives and the strategic goals of the College.
