Night Shift Warehouse Operator

$18.5 per hour
Full-time

Wulf Talent

While most of Houston winds down for the evening, a warehouse floor is just hitting its stride.

Freight is rolling in, bins need clearing, and somebody has to make sure everything lands exactly where it belongs by morning. That somebody could be you.

The Role

You will work the night shift for a Houston warehouse operation, running forklifts and keeping inventory accurate, organized and easy to find. One minute you are consolidating bins, the next you are receiving new freight and putting it away in the right spot. It is hands on work for someone who takes pride in a clean, tidy and efficient floor.

What You Will Do

  • Consolidate inventory and combine bin locations
  • Perform inventory counts and verify inventory accuracy
  • Remove and organize empty pallets
  • Clean and organize storage racks and warehouse areas
  • Repalletize loose, mixed or unstable pallets when freight arrives
  • Receive, put away and stock inventory
  • Move products to the correct warehouse locations
  • Perform bin and location transfers and update inventory records
  • Keep the warehouse organized, clean and efficient
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines

What It Takes

  • Comfort operating a cherry picker (order picker) forklift for bin consolidation, inventory counting and warehouse organization
  • Comfort operating a reach forklift for inbound receiving, put away and bin and location transfers
  • Comfort operating a sit down forklift for flooring organization, inbound receiving and put away
  • A careful eye for inventory accuracy and clean, organized racks
  • Respect for safety procedures and forklift guidelines every shift
  • Ability to work the evening to overnight schedule Monday to Friday
  • Bilingual skills are a plus and will help you stand out

Schedule and Flexibility

This is a night shift role, Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Compensation

Pay starts at $18.50 per hour. For that, you get steady Monday to Friday hours and the chance to work across several types of forklifts, which is real, marketable warehouse experience.

Ready?

If you like work where you can see the results of your effort at the end of every shift, this one is built for you. Come tell us about your forklift experience and let us see where you fit.
