Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Chemical Site Health, Safety, Environmental, and Process to join their team.Join our team as the Chemical Site HSE & PS Manager and play a critical role in ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible work environment at our petrochemical manufacturing plant. Initially, you will focus on overseeing safety during the construction phase, managing high-risk activities, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Long-term, you will be responsible for the overall HSE and process safety performance of the site, implementing best practices, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities (Near Term - Construction Phase):

• Oversee safety aspects of construction activities (heavy lifts, hot work, work at height, fire safety).
• Maintain high safety standards and enforce regulatory requirements.
• Manage emergency situations effectively.

Responsibilities (Long Term - Operational Phase):

• Develop and implement HSE and process safety management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations (PSM, RMP).
• Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, FMEA) and implement appropriate controls.
• Drive continuous improvement in HSE and process safety performance.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the site.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, or equivalent) preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in HSE and process safety management in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and process safety regulations.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies.

Working Conditions:

• Site-based position with occasional travel.
• Availability for emergency response and after-hours support.
