About the Position

Job Title: RN ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Experience in a Medical ICU setting - Ability to work with a standard patient ratio of 2:1 - Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays as needed Description: This position is located in a Medical ICU unit. The unit provides care for critically ill patients. Standard patient-nurse ratio is 2:1. Royal blue scrubs are required. Must be available for every other weekend rotation. Holidays may be required based on unit needs. Experience with Sunrise charting system is preferred. The facility is a Level 1 trauma center. It is recognized as a Stroke Center for Excellence. The unit also houses a Burn Center. The facility is ELSO certified. There is a Transplant Center on-site.
