Apply today and join the team!Job OverviewSalary Range: $55,000 per yearLocation: Lansing, MISchedule: Regular workdays with occasional overnight travel, depending on the assigned territoryAs a Custodian Area Manager, you will oversee and manage one or more of the following service areas for customers within your designated region: janitorial services, maintenance, exterior landscaping, or restaurant and restaurant equipment cleaning.Key Responsibilities:Manage customer and vendor relationships within assigned accountsConduct monthly or quarterly visits with customer district and regional management to ensure satisfactionPerform site visits, conduct audits, and submit reports as requiredEnsure buildings are properly supplied and equipped while responding to service requests within two hoursDevelop and maintain service delivery plans, coordinate vendors, and manage schedulesSubmit project timelines and updates to headquarters as requiredProvide backup support in emergency situationsQualifications:3+ years of management experience, preferably within janitorial, building maintenance, exterior services, or the restaurant industryKnowledge of compliance standards, including OSHA, state/federal regulations, and company policiesExperience managing staffing levels, budgets, and crew performanceAbility to analyze and manage profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure budget adherenceStrong project management skills with the ability to adjust and communicate changes effectivelyAbility to build and maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure contract compliance and service excellenceExperience in full employee lifecycle management, including hiring, training, performance management, and terminationsBackground check and drug test requiredEmployee Benefits:Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Life insuranceSupplemental health insurance (e.g., accident coverage)401(k) plan with company matchEmployee discount program for travel, gyms, electronics, dining, and moreThis company is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, gender identity, marital status, military status, or any other protected category.
