As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs
- Help patients improve function and overall quality of life
- Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
- Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)
- Valid state SLP license
- CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred
- Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills
- CPR certification preferred
