We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Test Automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by designing, executing, and maintaining effective testing strategies across web applications and APIs. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.

Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate REST APIs.

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.

Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Support release validation and production deployment testing activities.

Contribute to CI/CD testing strategies and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Ensure testing best practices and quality standards are followed across projects.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Manual Testing

Expertise in API Testing using Postman and REST APIs

Automation testing experience with Selenium or Playwright

Knowledge of JSON, protocols, and API validation

Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions

Knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation

Healthcare domain experience

Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript

Experience with test automation framework design and maintenance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

Proven experience in manual and automation testing across web applications and APIs.

Nice to Have

Experience working in cloud-based environments.

Exposure to performance and security testing.

Relevant QA certifications (ISTQB or equivalent
