Corte Bella Country Club is seeking a personable, and motivated team member to join our Spa & Fitness team. This customer-facing role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience and connecting with residents and guests. You’ll be responsible for greeting residents and guests, answering calls, scheduling appointments, assisting with spa and fitness services and products, and supporting daily check-in and front desk operations. Located within a premier guard-gated active adult community of 1,650 homes, Corte Bella offers an exceptional setting featuring a resort-style pool, fitness center, social hall, day spa, restaurant, and an 18-hole championship golf course winding throughout the community.

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor activities in exercise equipment areas, aerobic room, aquatic areas, locker rooms, and spa and reporting any safety and facility concerns to Management.
• Advise residents and their guests of facility policies and procedures.
• Perform minor custodial duties to include wiping down machines, picking up discarded items, etc.
• Perform facility opening and closing procedures and identify changes to implement.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Health/Wellness areas.
• Validate resident/guest participation and issue fitness equipment upon request.
• Respond to emergency situations per First Aid/CPR training and/or facility procedures as necessary.
• Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments. 
• Ensure that the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled in accordance with company.

• Handle guests’ questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Performs other related duties as directed.

• Advanced customer service and communication skills (both verbally and written), and the ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to elicit information from callers and visitors in a professional and efficient manner.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organization and tracking skills.
• Ability to function efficiently in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff and homeowners at all levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the department as well as with other departments.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Must be flexible and capable of working hours, to include weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 45 lbs. Must be able to transport oneself around the association and recreation center facilities.
• The ability to communicate effectively with a clear and easily understandable voice is necessary for engaging and interaction with individuals within the community.
