Security Surveillance Agent

The Security Surveillance Agent is tasked with the monitoring and documenting and identifying any and all suspicious activity, monitoring the patterns of peoples in and around the building. Also documenting and bookmarking any incidents or injuries making notes of the occurrence and circumstances around them.

Shift:

Thurs.-Sat.: 10:30pm-7:00am / Sun.-Mon.: OFF / Tues.-Wed.: 2:30pm-11:00pm

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter data into computer programs and use programs to gather data.
• The ability to use digital video recorders and offload video and photos from DVR's.
• Write reports on activities seen and have good phone skills.
• Operate all equipment in the surveillance room
• Documenting and bookmarking any incidents or injuries making notes of the occurrence and circumstances around them.
• Monitor, Document, and Identify any and all suspicious activity
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Good organizational, communication and inter-personal skills
• Demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele
• Absence of felony or violent crime convictions, required
• Clearly demonstrated ability at problem solving
• Must have excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Excels in retaining and recalling information
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Knowledge of general laws and ordinances
• Able to work all shifts, required
• Ability to work under pressure dictated by event schedules and project timetables
• Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization; skill to work effectively as part of a team
• Perform leadership role and job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities
• Excellent record of dependability and reliability

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework in business courses preferred
• Customer Service experience, preferred

Computer Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with computer related systems.
• Demonstrated computer literacy in word-processing and spreadsheet programs

Working Conditions:

Position may require certifications by law and/or job assignment. Position requires long periods of sitting, occasional walking, climbing stairs, standing on cement floors, turning, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling; may be subject to adverse working conditions, dust, grime, noise, fumes, wet floors etc.; requires irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evening, and holidays, determined by event schedule and/or department need; Requires radio usage of a two-way hand-held radio.
