About the Position

We're seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide care for a 24/7 private-duty client in Hiawatha, Iowa.

This is a unique opportunity to care for a single patient in a warm, family-centered home. The home is fully equipped to support quality care, including an elevator for safe mobility. You'll have the opportunity to accompany the client to concerts, sporting events, social outings, and other community activitieswith admission covered by the client.

The patient's spouse and extended family are actively involved, creating a supportive and positive care environment.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN openings
• 12-hour shifts (open to 8/10 hour shifts if the right fit) 
• Days, nights, weekends, and weekday opportunities available
• Care provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Nursing Responsibilities

• Tracheostomy care
• G-tube care and feeding
• Management of respiratory conditions
• Management of neuromuscular disorders
• Medication administration
• Monitoring and documenting patient condition
• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and family members to maintain the plan of care
• Providing education and support to the patient's family

Qualifications
Required:

• Current Iowa RN or LPN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
