Branch Manager

The Branch Manager reports to the District Vice President and oversees the Columbia and Greenville branch locations. The role involves managing branch staff, P&L, security, customer relations, and operational growth. Responsibilities P & L control of branch labor, revenue, and profit margin. Recruit, interview, train, and evaluate operations personnel and supervisors. Oversee route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations. Ensure maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and equipment. Control operational costs. Maintain safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities. Secure cargo and terminal operations. Investigate accidents and process necessary paperwork. Develop customer service capabilities among all staff. Coordinate with sales, other Loomis branches, corporate staff, carriers, and vendors. Control overtime and monitor vacation schedules. Plan short- and long-term operations to meet branch goals. Key Relationships Supervisors: consult and receive direction from the District Vice President. Subordinates: train, counsel, discipline, and evaluate supervisors and hourly employees. Customers: communicate regularly. Sales/Administration: coordinate service updates, customer inquiries, and payroll issues. Qualifications Armored car or transportation experience. College education or military experience.
